Sooooo...Like any normal chick who is obsessed with fashion, I heist photos from the interweb of things I think are awesome and store them in a folder on my laptop for inspiration. I was going through said folder this evening and paused when I clicked on this photo of Jen Brill.Hang on one sec...is that....noooo....wait....yesssss....

...She's....wearing....MY CAPE!!!
I can't remember when I yoinked this photo of her or even what website it came from. All I know is that it was months ago. And one more thing: I am 99% certain that she is wearing the silk Alexander Wang cape that I am completely obsessed with. This cape just hit my favorite store Stel's a few weeks ago. This cape is so freaking sick it kills me! The way it drapes, the bat wing sleeves, the leather shoulder detailing. I have visited it repeatedly and done more than a few twirls in it.
Oh Alex, If only I had $540 to drop on this piece of amazingness you have created. I'd wear it everywhere. If anyone else has the loot, you can cop it here.
And seriously, Jen Brill is the best dressed girl on the planet right now.

fyi: h&m had a black "silk" boyfriend style blazer, i purchased it a month ago and it looks just like the charcoal one emporio armani put out and similar to the Alexander Wang one, long and loose fitting :)
I will definitely look into that. I have to go trend shopping this week for work anyway...will mos def make h&m one of my stops! You are lucky you live in NY, I'm not sure if a silk cape would have made it into the Boston store but we'll see, thanks!
